Description

Selecting the right sealant is critical to the success of a sealing project as different sealant is designed to meet different requirements of working conditions. Three variables are considered when evaluating the working conditions: working temperature, leaking pressure and leaking media. We have successfully developed various of sealants including TXY-6 series with best performance under low temperature, TXY-16 series with best flowability and TXY-18 series with widest range of media resistance.

Performance
Temperature-resistant performance, pressure-bearing capacity, and basic curing time

The sealant maintains the strength and elastic stability under certain temperature within a given time.

Medium-resistant performance

The sealant contacting the medium for a long time has high resistance to swelling and solution.

Pressure-bearing performance  

The sealant compactly filled could remain sufficient unit sealing load.

Flowability

The sealant could become plastically deformed after fully filling into the sealing cavity under certain pressure and temperature.



Application Reference

TXY-16# is applied in the narrow flange connection gap and valve stuffing box seal.

TXY-18# is applied in the serious leak system of high pressure and temperature. The attention should be paid to the coordinate the injection speed and the sealant curing time.

The grooves should set up at the clamp edge for blocking the granular or strong adhesive leaking medium.

The clamp for the working system of low temperature and high pressure could be heated externally.

The first round of injection should be followed up by a second round of additional injection to avoid stress relaxation in the sealing cavity in case of the system temperature is below 250.
